Great CD !!! June 25, 2010

I stumbled upon David Garrett's music by accident. Not being a fan of violin in general (more of a piano/sax lover outside of my rock/metal world), I put this into my Wishlist here at Amazon, to think about it. Every time I listened to the clips, I wanted to buy it, but always paused. Then one day in my car, the yearning for something different (than my usual rock/metal etc) led me back to this CD. It is a great CD. His mastery of his instrument, along with his love for contemporary music and youthful take on classics are very uplifting. LOVE this CD, and again, I'm not a huge fan of the violin. He's great. I've told everyone I know: check out this music!!!

I was not familiar with David Garrett until I came across his music on the Amazon site. This is the first CD I ordered but will not be my last. His music is exciting as well as being well executed. I have listened to this CD multiple times and enjoy each time a bit more. Glad I found David and have definitely become a fan.

LOVE this CD. I hope David Garrett comes up with more of this crossover creations--absolutely delightful combination of mastery of classical elements, pep, pop, rhythm, and interpretation. LOVE IT. Highly recommended to both classical music lovers and ANYONE who enjoys music. Lovely. Great promise in this young man.
