Fantastic in my Nikon D90 September 5, 2010 Paul F Porter I bought this card for its write speed ... and it did not dissappoint me one bit. I use it in my Nikon D90 and with the 4.5 frames per seconc capability, I wanted a card with enough storage and write speed that it could keep up without stopping my photo shots. IT WORKS! I put the camera on burst mode and kept firing until I had over 28 shots and the camera never hesitated once. This is an awsome card in the Nikon D90. I'm sure it would work in any of the other high end DSLR camersas too ... but in my D90 it's just awsome.
Fast card, more than enough space, compatible with my Nikon DSLR! Excellent. September 4, 2010 Derek I bought this with my Nikon d90 DSLR. I was debating whether or not to spend the extra money and upgrade to the 30 mb/s, but decided to go with this instead. I didn't choose wrong! Shooting in RAW mode I can capture about 8-9 shots at 4.5 frames per second, until the buffer is full, then it drops to a bit slower. But shooting in JPEG mode this card is fast enough to take an infinite number of shots at full speed! (Well, until the card fills up that is!).
You may be tempted to upgrade and get the 8GB, but trust me, you won't need it. I can take more than JPGS before the card is full, and if you are one to shoot in RAW, you still have a hefty number of shots (around 600-800?).
Overall, fantastic card that does what it claims. Five stars. And at this low price, who could resist? Who would WANT to resist? Stop reading reviews and buy it already! It's worth your money.
Nice Video Card August 23, 2010 Greg After 3 months the card still works great like I expected it would so it is still too early to tell if it is worth the extra money. The higher class rating is supposed to increase downloading speed. I don't have anything to compare it against, but downloading pictures from my camera sure is simple and fast.
SanDisk Extreme III 4GB - Fast and Reliable August 20, 2010 BC The read and write speeds on this card are great, so far there hasn't been any lag or shutter delays. I never knew the difference between different card speeds and reliability until I used an ATP card which ended up corrupting several hundred photos when I backpacked for 2 months in south east asia. I lost quite a few photos that were unreadable/unrenderable. This card has been a great buy for my digital camera and also works well recording HD video.
Money well spent August 14, 2010 WranglerTJ I ordered the SanDisk Extreme III 4 GB Class 6 SDHC Flash Memory Card for use with my Nikon D90. It does what it needs to do quickly and reliably and at a fair price from Amazon.Com.
