Sturdy yet lightweight, this chair is the very definition of outdoor comfort. Made of lightweight nylon fabric with an aluminum frame, it collapses and slides into a carrying case (included); sling it over your shoulder and off you go to a concert in the park. Buy a pair of these so you don't end up arguing with your friend over who gets the best seating.

 Light duty only! October 29, 2005
Fine for kids and small people on firm ground, but I had two of
these things fail at the exact same joint in soft soil. I
suspect that they will fail just as easily in sand. These were
brand new items!

it was a good little chair for while, but after awhile the fabric rips and the chair breaks.

I have several of these for tailgating parties and have encountered both the 'bag tearing' and the 'leg bending' problems mentioned by the other readers. I just have written such off to the low price of each chair. If we weren't so tough on them, I'm sure they'd last longer. Overall, they are a good deal for the money.

Not only is the bag bad but as a person less then 250 pounds when i sat in it the first time it bent. I tried to bend it back and it rebent. I feel it may not be safe!!

I way alot less the 250 pounds and when I got a simaler product and used it it bent.
